FOSDEM is coming to Brussels on the 4& 5 of February and with it thousands of programmers and other people interestedin FOSS (Free & Open Source Software). For those in Brussels that may have missed it, FOSDEM is the biggest free and non-commercial event organized by and for the community. Its goal is to provide Free and Open Source developers a place to meet.
Seriously, if you have never been there it is fully worth the visit. If you’ve been there, you know.
We had a call from some foreign participants to see if they could come and work for a fee to which we replied “yes but free”. Why? Because we support tech initiatives in Brussels and we thing that FOSDEM is one of the greatest.
So here’s the deal, on Friday 3 and Monday 6 we will host for free the FOSDEM participants that would like to get some work done while in Brussels. All you have to do is signup for the free tryout for the days you will come. It is impossible to host all the people that comes to Brussels for FOSDEM but we will host as many as possible and then close the registration when we reach our limits. The Betagroup Coworking Brussels will be open from 9am to 6pm for all of you. Special rooms will be set if needed.
