Born and raised in Brussels, with a background in business administration, Bastien had a great variety of experiences in various contexts all around the world. He mainly jumped from industry, with focus on finance, to humanitarian and social sector. The thread between both sectors has always been his passion for organization in difficult environments.
When Bastien turned his look towards SME’s, he realized that every company face organizational inefficiency, regardless of their specific sector. He started working as a consultant, helping companies to strengthen their organizational structure. When his management skills matched with the technical skills of his associate (an expert in SaaS, database online and web design), Bastien co-founded Smoall.com, a web application offering essential business tools enabling starters, free lancers and SME’s to work efficiently and professionally.

Bastien discovered coworking by chance one year ago. He remembers that his first day he was so impressed that he spent about 20 minutes looking around and wondering what were all those people doing. He loves to balance working from home and coworking: he comes to Betacowork to relax, to interact with people and to find more inspiration, while he prefers to get the hard work done at home.
