FAQ
Yes, several banks and ATMs are within walking distance. Nearby options for food and errands include shops along Chaussée de Wavre and Avenue des Volontaires, near the Pétillon metro station.
No — our memberships are personal, one per person. If several people from the same company want to work together, each of them needs to sign up individually.
Yes — our Full Time, Half Time, and 1 Day a Week plans all include the option to use the Betacowork address as your business’s official registered address. If you leave, you’ll need to update your registered address elsewhere, as we can’t continue handling mail for former members.
Betacowork started as the Betagroup Coworking Brussels project, founded by Ramon Suarez and Jean Derely. It’s since grown into its own independent company, with no ongoing ties to Betagroup. We’ve used the Betacowork name across our social media since the beginning (@betacowork on Twitter/X, Betacowork on Facebook, #betacowork for our events).
Ask our team when you arrive — Wi-Fi access is provided on-site for all members and visitors.
Yes, just as you would in any normal office. If you need more privacy, there are quiet spots for calls, and meeting rooms are available to book if you need a private space.
Printing and scanning is available over our network from any coworking room. Ask our team when you arrive and we’ll get you set up on the right printer for your room — some rooms also support direct USB connection for laptops. For large or specialized print jobs, we can recommend a nearby professional print shop.
Yes — we have a Nespresso machine, a Senseo machine, and a separate one for events.
We have vending machines on-site in the cafeteria and coworking rooms. For options nearby, Chaussée de Wavre and Avenue des Volontaires (near Pétillon metro) have several shops, cafés, and restaurants within a short walk.
No. This tax (known as the “Belasting op de kantooroppervlakten” in Dutch, or “Taxe sur les surfaces de Bureaux” in French) is covered by ICAB as part of the building’s overall annual payment. If you receive a payment claim for this tax directly, let us know and we’ll help you sort it out with the Etterbeek tax service.
Not on-site. Motorcycles need to park on the street like cars.
Yes — bicycle parking is available to the left of the main entrance.
Reserved spots inside the premises are limited to existing permit holders. For alternatives, ask Etterbeek’s municipal parking service about business permits, or check availability near the VUB campus (a short walk away), which sometimes offers monthly parking.
Street parking is available nearby (pay-and-display, enforced). All spaces within our building’s own gated area are reserved for existing permit holders. For longer-term parking, Etterbeek’s municipal parking service offers business permits — contact them directly for current pricing and availability, which varies by company registration status.
You can reach us by car, metro, bus, tram, train, bicycle, or on foot. See our Contact page for detailed directions and public transit options.
We open up extra space in our seminar and conference rooms as needed — you’ll always have somewhere to work.
Yes, and it’s free. Sign up for our one-day tryout to see if Betacowork is right for you.
No. Seats aren’t assigned — we have several rooms and you’re free to sit wherever suits you. If you’d rather have a fixed spot, our Full Time Own Desk plan reserves one for you.
Betacowork is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Free trial day visitors and drop-in guests should confirm their specific access window with our team when booking.
After your first invoice, we recommend setting up an automatic monthly payment using the client code shown on your invoice — it’s the easiest way for everyone. If you’d rather pay manually each month, just make sure to include the structured payment reference from your invoice. Either way, payments should reach us before the start of each month.
Contact us and let us know what happened — a screenshot helps, but a clear description of what you were doing and which page you were on works too. We’ll sort it out quickly.
Meeting rooms can be booked directly with our team — just reach out and we’ll help you find a time that works.
Members can book event spaces directly with us. Non-members should reach out to ICAB, our building partner, to arrange event space.
Yes. Just make sure to include the full address and a mention of Betacowork Brussels so it reaches us correctly.
