Business English workshop: write your way to success

business_english-web1Are you struggling to describe your business products or services in ways that people easily understand? Does it take you way too long to write emails? Are your messages getting lost in translation?
When you participate in this workshop, you will learn how to write in English with clarity, purpose and precision. Expect lots of ‘aha’ moments when you see how and why #word crimes, such as awkward structure, wordiness and jargon are sabotaging your emails and memos.
You will takeaway a toolbox of writing tips and tricks that will improve your image, credibility and most importantly, your productivity.

  • Written evaluation of a writing sample of your choice;
  • “Elements of Style” by Strunk and White – the ultimate guide to writing;

Trainers:

Meg Stringer helps businesses to powerfully communicate in English so that the right people can understand what businesses do, why they do it and what’s in it for customers. She provides writing, editing and coaching services for businesses of all types, but especially likes working with technology companies and start-ups.

Dianna Rienstra is a communications consultant for a wide range of public and private sector clients. She was a print, radio and TV journalist for more than 15 years and now enjoys coaching in writing, editing and presentation skills.

Diana and Meg have taught workshops recently for Digital Europe, European Development Days and the World Economic Forum.
