Toon Vanagt & Eric Rodriguez

Those names may be familiar to you if you’ve come at Betacowork in Brussels since both data.be’s founders are Betacoworkers.
Toon Vanagt is an entrepreneur & coach with broad experience in setting up and managing technology ventures and projects.
Eric Rodriguez is a freelance with 10+ years of experience with software development and entrepreneur at heart since he was a youngster. They both share common points:

  • a passion for entrepreneurship
  • spontaneous thoughts
  • great business and technical skills
  • an addiction to creativity and well done work

Eutrepreneurship for second family

They did not choose the entrepeneur life, the entrepreneur life chose them. It is simple as that. Take for example the case of Eric Rodriguez, who started building a custom invoicing solution for family business at 16. “Being an entrepreneur widens your event horizons. Given the current ecosystem, there is very little you cannot do. It is mainly a question of will and focussing on what you want.” With a spirit like that and a looking forward attitude, it is no coincidence that data.be was designated as one of the most promising start-up amongst all the start-ups in Belgium.
