Julia Brethenoux is Program Analyst for a program of the World Bank called infoDev. This program helps entrepreneurs in the developing world to start and grow their businesses in private sector development, including from the design and implementation of innovative business incubation to early-stage financing services. She works mainly with projects based in Africa and the Middle East. For example she deals with climatech entrepreneurs, so it could be someone developing technologies in solar or wind energy.
She started working from a coworking space because she was fed up with working from home. “I was working all the time” she said. Thanks to coworking, she now has a better balance between her working and private lives. She feels lighter and happier going to the office, everybody is nice, smiling and helpful. One of the benefits? If you need help with anything, yprofiles_01660_imageou just ask and you’ll find someone willing to help you!
Thanks to Betacowork she has a better understanding of what’s happening in Belgium in the startup and entrepreneurs’ world. She has met an amazing group of people and she has access to really interesting events. She’s getting in the entrepreneurship community in Brussels and she is really excited about that!
